I searched a long time and tried lots of night clocks, but all had one or more shortcomings. This one does almost everything I wanted! (I bought the Pro version.) You can set the color, background, size, and font; choose 12- or 24-hour display; rotate between portrait and landscape; choose to display day, date, weather, alarm; hide the Settings button and notification bar; set the clock to speak the time; and much more. Screen burn-in prevention is a very valuable feature. It moves the clock display, almost imperceptibly, from time to time. I think the movement increments should be a bit bigger. (My last phone, also an OLED screen, suffered serious burn-in after years of using a different night clock.) I almost took off a star (half a star if I could) because the adaptable brightness doesn't work well at all to dim the display in low ambient light. But you can also dim by swiping down or set a fixed dim level in Settings. (Samsung Galaxy S10+ with Android 10 and OneUI 2.1.)

After trying a half-dozen other clock apps, I settled on this one and haven't looked back. I like to use my phone as my alarm clock. This app makes your phone look just like a regular digital alarm clock. One of the best features is that you can set the clock face colours to whatever you want, even in the free version. I set mine to a deep, dark blue and then put the clock in low-brightness mode (a feature also available in the free version) and so at night, the clock is just bright enough that it doesn't light up the whole room and keep me awake. Wonderful. The paid version (which is cheap, too) allows you to adjust that brightness by swiping the screen.

I have tried several apps/ widgets looking for a good clock display. This is the best one i have found. Very simple and solid but with enough display options to let me customize it to suit my mood. I like the dim for night adjustment and that I can control the Date, Time and Seconds format. I am sure the pro version is better but as I am on a fixed income the fact that I can download a reliable app for free is really important to me. I would absolutely recommend this app!😏
A GODSEND for someone with poor eyesight! Without my glasses I can't see the time on my phone. Now I just punch the app and there it is! HUGE! I also switch to this full screen display when working and need to glance at the time from across a room, such as when I'm working on a project w someone for a set time, not sitting at a desk. This is one of the most used, most practical apps on my phone! Bravo for thinking of such a practical item. I couldn't do without it.
Fabulous app, possibly the best I've ever installed, & it's free! Makes a great bedside travel alarm clock which you can't forget to pack in your suitcase, or just make use of your old mobile stuck in a drawer somewhere so you have it separate to your current mobile. You can pay a little more to add a few extras, I have but not strictly necessary as all the main functions are already present, they just add a little more customisation.
