Updated: I use this app for everything. I have the paid version so the bad reviews about ads aren't useful for me. I have recorded for 13+ hours straight with no issues and that's with high quality audio recording. Just make sure you have enough storage for it. And give it a few mins to process after saving. I have had issues sharing the file but if you hit details and then the +□ button you can duplicate the file into a different folder and it can be shared no issues. Best recorder for sure.
Definitely 5 stars I downloaded at least 10 different recording apps today to try them out. This is the only one that would work for Calls both ways in high quality, Not kidding when it says it has hundreds of options, It has options for background noises, file allocation, your Bluetooth headphones or other devices, but this can also be turned off. There's isn't a thing that I could ask for in recording apps that this does not do. If anything is not working it probably just needs enabled :)
I honestly could not live my life without this app now it has completely transformed the way that I capture thoughts. You absolutely have to give it a try and really dig in and explore all the different things that it can do and try them out and see how they can actually be useful to you because it will transform the way that you function on a day-to-day basis. I cannot recommend this happen enough. Nuff said.
I have had this app for about three years. I use it to record music, personal information and numerous other things. I have never had a single problem with it. It's probably the best free app I have ever used. It has features I have never used simply because I just have never had the occasion. But maybe some day. Great job Parrot!
Parrot is the best recorder app, options that are not found in other apps, record files in m4a extension which is modern, also silence skip will record only specified frequencies, record via Bluetooth microphone, beautiful and explicit user interface, in short great app that deserves to be #1 recorder.
